History
Since 2001, Agilix has delivered award-winning innovative, effective, and scalable educational products and solutions. Agilix was founded by the same core team that created Folio and MyFamily.com/Ancestry.com – one of the largest online communities in the world with over 16M registered members.
In 2009, Agilix released BrainHoney – a new and better way for teaching and learning. Based on an open technology architecture and concepts of mastery, efficiency, individualized learning, and equitable access, the BrainHoney hosted suite of solutions is the only learning solution that works seamlessly across classroom, hybrid, and online environments.

Curt Allen, President and CEO
Mr. Allen co-founded Agilix in 2001 and manages strategic direction and key relationships with Microsoft, Intel, Franklin Covey and others. Prior to Agilix, Mr. Allen founded and led MyFamily.com to reach 16M registered members and created Folio – a world leader in publishing services.
Dave McGinn, COO
Mr. McGinn directs the operational and financial strategies of Agilix. Prior to joining Agilix in 2002, Mr. McGinn was CFO of Ancestry.com where he raised more than $75 million in capital. Mr. McGinn was an executive at Novell, OpenMarket, and KPMG.
Brandt Redd, CTO
Mr. Redd oversees the core learning services technology ensuring a reliable scale-out infrastructure. Prior to Agilix, Mr. Redd was Chief Scientist at MyFamily.com and helped design the system that supports millions of active users with sub-second response times. Mr. Redd co-founded Folio and holds multiple patents.
Mark Luetzelschwab, Ph.D., SVP Product and Marketing
Dr. Luetzelschwab directs product development, marketing and professional services. Dr. Luetzelschwab has directed award-winning, ground-breaking products for 20 years and served as an executive in numerous startup companies.
Mark Wolfgramm, VP Development
Mr. Wolfgramm co-founded Agilix and manages the world-class Agilix development team. Prior to Agilix, Mr. Wolfgramm co-designed and developed the core infrastructure of both MyFamily.com and Folio – capable of indexing billions of records and delivering search results to millions of users in milliseconds.
