LESSON DESIGN 1
NCSCOS OBJ - List the objective number (Math 1.01)
Combine the objective, method of learning and projected outcome giving students a choice on how they show you what they have learned using a rubric to self-evaluate.
This is an example of self-evaluation:
Encourage students to reflect on their finished product using these questions:
1. Did I use the instructional strategy stated in the objective I chose?
Yes. I made a comparison between ..... and .....
2. Does my product meet the objective?
My product meets the objective because I know ...... is greater
than .....
3. Is my finished product complete?
It is complete because I have shown how .... and ..... are alike and
how they are different.
4. Does my finsihed product meet expectations?
This product meets expectations because:
a. Information is accurate.
b. All words are spelled correctly.
c. Sentences are clear and complete.
d. Work is neat and well organized.
e. Product is complete.
This product does not meet expectations because:
b. I have three misspelled words that I will correct in the next
work session.
e. My product is still in progress.
CHOICES FOR STUDENTS
